Medical Apparel Manufacturing - Corporate Graphic Designer for the marketing department of a company that manufactures high-end medical attire for the health industry. Joe Griffin designed catalogs and look-books, multi-panel brochures, wall murals and store-front murals, gift bags and other items used in the promotion of the company's products.

The Armored Republic – AR500 Armor - Visual Graphic Designer for an e-commerce company that manufactures body armor, plate carriers and accessories. Griffin's role was to develop the visual campaigns and digital assets for the company’s monthly marketing endeavors. Designs included cohesive imagery for desktop and mobile website and advertisements published on Google, Facebook, Instagram and email.

Design Projects, Inc. – Senior Graphic Designer assigned to manage the artwork and visual branding for a Grammy-nominated blues band, design responsibilities of menu collateral for a few restaurants and direct mail and marketing pieces for a high-end hair salon and construction company.

UC San Diego Health, Marketing and Communications – Corporate Identity and Designer for the marketing and communications department of UCSD hospital, tasked with branding and marketing projects for Jacobs Medical Center, Moores Cancer Center Survivorship Celebration, Mental Health Matters Community Education Series, as well as flyers, brochures, pull-up banners, postcards, mailers, event t-shirts, drawstring backpacks, pocket binders, and more.

Naval Center for Combat & Operational Stress Control - Senior Graphic Design Specialist, the creative force behind the brand identities of the entire center and the center’s individual mental health programs. He designed the brand elements for Psychological Health Pathways and Behavior Health Data Portal. He also created large wall murals, stationary packages, PowerPoint presentations, trade show banners, one-sheets, marketing material and other collateral pieces.

Education - Griffin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. While in college, he studied all aspects of graphic design as well as fine art, art history and photography. Griffin also attended a nine month course at The Advertising Arts College of San Diego, where he received certification in Digital Graphic Design.

Personal Projects - Besides graphic design, photography and writing are passions of Joe Griffin. Over the years he has had dozens of photographs displayed in art and photography galleries; located include Las Vegas, New York, Barcelona, Berlin, Athens, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Madrid, Vienna, Melbourne and other cities. He has also completed the manuscript of a nonfiction novel as well as a fiction novel and is attempting to get them published.

Military Service - Griffin served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
